A great selection workshop is over.

March 05, 2026

A few weeks ago, we were able to host 11 candidates for positions in the IMPRS-CPQM to Dresden. Over the course of two days of the selection workshop, the candidates presented an exciting presentation on their research, covering a highly diverse set of topics, met potential future supervisors and had various further opportunities to interact with our students and get to know the research environment of IMPRS-CPQM. We sincerely thank all candidates for their contributions to the workshop. Despite long and exhausting travel in many cases, everyone was in good spirit, motiviated to learn more about our program and made a very good impression on us. We also appreciate the time and effort of our PIs and, in particular, our students to make the workshop a memorable event for everyone involved.

The weather even allowed for some sightseeing in the historic downtown area of Dresden.

The workshop was the final stage of our selection process. If you did submit an application to IMPRS-CPQM before 30 November 2025 and have not received an update, please get in touch with us.
