Congratulations to Peter Swekis!
While taking his last step towards obtaining his doctoral degree on April Fools' Day, Peter Swekis proved to certainly be no fool and successfully defended his PhD thesis. Peter worked on a project on "Magnetic and Magnetotransport Properties of Topological MnxPtSn and Co2MnGa Heusler Thin Films" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Claudia Felser. His great work and PhD defense earned Peter the disctinction "magna cum laude" in his doctoral degree.
From 2017 to 2019, Peter was one of the PhD representatives at MPI CPfS. He not only contributed to the PhD activities at the institute, but also - as the external representative - to activities across the Max Planck Society. We thank him for his dedication and wish him all the best for the next steps in his career.
