Meet us at the APS March Meeting 2019 in Boston

February 25, 2019

The March Meeting 2019 of the American Physical Society will take place from 4 - 8 March in Boston. Among the more than 11,000 participants, there will be several PIs and students of IMPRS-CPQM. We are particularly excited that Prof. Claudia Felser, director at the MPI CPfS and PI in our IMPRS, will receive the James C. McGroddy Prize for New Materials during the meeting. And the contributions from other members of IMPRS-CPQM will give a good view on the excellent science performed in our program.

Further, IMPRS-CPQM coordinator Dr. Markus König will be one of the representatives for the Max Planck Society at the booth of Research in Germany. He and his colleagues will advertise research and career opportunities at German universities and research institutions. He obviously would also be happy to answer specific questions about our IMPRS. You can find Research in Germany at booth 635 - 641 in the Exhibit Hall.

If you are interested in the science performed at the partner institutions participating in IMPRS-CPQM, the March Meeting obviously will be a great opportunity to attend talks by our researchers. You can find the presentations by researchers from MPI CPfS, TU Dresden and the University of St Andrews in the scientific program by using the Affiliation Search on the March Meeting webpage.

In order to find all contributions from our institutions via the Affiliation Search, it might be necessary to go through multiple attempts. For example, you might want to search for "Chemical Physics of Solids" and "CPfS" to find all talks given by researchers from MPI CPfS.
