Characterization of quantum materials - from lab bench to real-life applications

Dr. Eteri Svanidze will be giving a class at TU Dresden with a title "Characterization of quantum materials - from lab bench to real-life applications" over a period of two weeks (Feb 6-10, 13-17, 9AM-12PM, in-person). In this class, you will learn how physical property measurements further fundamental understanding and application potential of solid-state materials. By looking at the relation between inherent crystal chemistry and resultant physical phenomena, we will examine several families of quantum materials using various measurement techniques. You will gain hands-on experience in preparation of specimens as well as data analysis.

Currently, there are a few spots available for those who are interested, so please email me back in case you'd like to take part. Don't hesitate to reach out in case you have any questions.
