Congratulations to Fabian Jerzembeck!
While most PhD students will feel pressure at some point during their work, Fabian Jerzembeck made pressure an essential part of his PhD project on "Uniaxial Pressure Studies of the Unconventional Superconductor Sr2RuO4" under the supervision of Andy Mackenzie and Clifford Hicks.
On Friday, Fabian completed the last step of his PhD process and successfully defended his thesis. Fabian was awarded the distinction "magna cum laude" for his work. We congratulate Fabian on his success and wish him all the best. He will continue as a postdoctoral researcher at MPI CPfS.
During his PhD time, Fabian also was a PhD representative in the academic year 2017/2018 and was instrumental in many activities organized by and for the PhD community at the institute. We thank Fabian for his service as a representative.
