Impressions from the selection workshop

March 05, 2018

Our selection workshop for new PhD students has successfully been completed and we very much enjoyed the interaction with our visitors from all over the world. Here are some impressions from the two days, which not only included hard work, but also gave our visitors plenty opportunity to explore our institute and the city of Dresden.

The talks by our visiting candidates were attended by students and potential supervisors from all three research institutions involved in IMPRS-CPQM.

The visiting students brave the exceptionally cold weather (below -10°C, likely the coldest day all winter) and go sightseeing with some of our PhD students.

As a part of their visit, our guests get to enjoy an evening with traditional German food at a traditional local restaurant.
